Education
I recently graduated Montana State University in Studio art after 3.5 years of study. I also attended Marietta College in Ohio for my Freshman year. I have a minor in education and will continue to pursue education in my masters. I am now painting full time and run a successful business.
Experience
As an education major I have a passion to teach and help others succeed. I have a wide knowledge from various areas to help a student succeed. Not only educating a student in one subject is beneficial but to bring in other subjects for a well rounded approach to learning is the key. If you are seeking extra help in the arts, I have much experience with painting and drawing. My paintings are sold nationally through private collections. I paint primarily with oil and focus on landscapes and the human body. I have a great knowledge of different styles and techniques to help you and I paint with a classical and impressionist approach. I can also help you with other subjects such as english or earth science. I also have ADHD, but I have been able to manage it so I can focus on a single task for hours (such as painting or homework) and not be distracted. I stay very organized and I have learned how to work with ADDHD so that it is a benefit rather than a drawback to my education. If you are having problems staying focused, I can help you overcome it.
