I am currently a freshman at Montana State University. Planning to graduate Fall 2021. My major is Microbiology and Organismal Biology with a minor in Astrobiology. My GPA is currently 3.5. I attended Sanford High school, in Maine.
Experience
During Highschool, I tutored students in a wide variety of math courses, like Algebra, Geometry, Factors, Statistics, Trigonometry, and Precalculus, as well as Biology and Physics. I was a teacher's aid for the Advanced Placement (AP) Biology class and I would spend free time in the lower level math classes, that I felt comfortable in, helping a teacher tutor students. I have experience in AP Biology, AP Environmental science, Marine Biology, Physics, Chemistry (College and AP), Earth science, AP Calculus, Aspire Statistics, Honors Precalculus, Honors Trigonometry, and Honors Algebra. I scored a 650 on the SAT math section (90th Percentile) and I scored a 4 on the AP Environmental science exam, a 5 on the AP Calculus exam, and a 4 on the AP Biology exam. I want to be a tutor because I love teaching people and helping people understand concepts I am passionate about. Teaching is one of my favorite things to do and I love helping my friends with their classes.
